Each vanity begins as a 1920-40's dresser made of walnut, oak or mahogany - crafted in an era of true permanence. Solid wood construction, hand-build joinery, and time-earned patina offer a level of character that cannot be replicated. Each piece is thoughtfully restored and reimagined for refined, modern interiors - preserving its soul while elevating its function.

Drawers are expertly rebuilt with dovetail joinery and custom-fitted to accommodate plumbing, then finished with premium soft-close glides for effortless everyday use.
Original antique hardware adds timeless character, while elegant lines make it a true statement piece.

On a Friday morning a few years ago, I discovered that an old farmhouse property near my home was scheduled to burn an aging barn that had stood on the land for generations. The thought of those hand-hewn beams and weathered barn boards disappearing into smoke felt like losing a piece of history. Determined to save at least part of it, I tracked down the property owner that same day and asked if he would consider selling me the barn wood and beams before the burn.
When it became clear that the burn would move forward no matter what, I took a chance and asked a different question: would he consider selling the entire property?
By the end of the day, I owned it.
What followed was a three-year labor of love. The old farmhouse had incredible bones but needed everything. I dug a new basement, lifted the house onto it, completely rebuilt the interior, and carefully restored every detail I could save—from the original hardwood floors to the historic trim that framed each room. Along the way I salvaged architectural pieces from another farmhouse before it too was lost, giving those materials a second life in this home.
The finished result blended history and modern living so seamlessly that it was eventually featured in Omaha Home Magazine. But the project also sparked something deeper.
While finishing the home, I found two antique dressers and decided to transform them into bathroom vanities. I wanted them to keep their timeless character while functioning like modern cabinetry. With careful craftsmanship, the drawers were completely rebuilt to accommodate plumbing while still gliding smoothly with soft-close hardware.
When they were finished, the result was stunning—antique beauty paired with modern function.
I was hooked.
Today that same philosophy guides every piece I create: preserving the craftsmanship, patina, and soul of antique furniture while thoughtfully adapting it for modern homes. Each vanity begins as a piece with its own story—solid wood, hand-built joinery, and decades of life already behind it. Through restoration and careful rebuilding, it becomes something new without losing what made it special in the first place.
Because the best homes aren’t filled with things that look old.
They’re filled with things that actually are—beautiful pieces of history, thoughtfully brought forward for another generation to enjoy.
